Paris, October 26, 2017 – The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has awarded Y&R as the 2017 EMEA Regional Network of the Year.

Y&R’s offices across Europe, the Middle East and Africa received 53 Cannes Lions this year. Highlights include Y&R Dubai and Y&R’s New Moments in Belgrade collaboration on “One Book,” for the Interreligious Council in Bosnia and Herzogovina that won five Lions, including a Gold for Design, Y&R Madrid was the most awarded agency in its market and Y&R Milan received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Lions for “Chat Yourself,” a chatbot messenger which collects information about the entire life of an Alzheimer’s sufferer and gives them vital information throughout the day.

Overall, Y&R was awarded a total of 98 Lions at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, including the agency’s first Glass Lion and a Grand Prix in Mobile.

The Regional Network of the Year Award is given to the regional agency networks that obtain the highest score for entries in the Film, Film Craft, Press, Outdoor, Radio, Media, Cyber, Mobile, Direct, Promo, Design, Product Design, PR, Titanium and Integrated, Creative Effectiveness, Branded Content and Entertainment and Innovation Lions sections.
